Jujutsu means soft technique or supple art and originates from feudal Japan. Some styles have kept the traditional character, while others have been refined into sports.
Most clubs that train Jujutsu are affiliated with the Swedish Budo & Martial Arts Federation and the Swedish Jujutsu Federation. The clubs are spread across the country. Jujutsu is practiced all over the world. Jujutsu can be trained as fitness, self-defence or competition.
Jujutsu is a versatile fitness sport, with a tradition that offers the opportunity to compete for those who want to.
The Swedish Jujutsu Federation represents about 40 jujutsu styles in Sweden with over 150 clubs affiliated.
