Karate Kumite competiton uniform regular
Budo-Nord's competition kits for "Kumite-karate" follow WKF's regulations. The same requirements for "Kumite Gi" are set by several other traditional karate organizations and have therefore become a form of standard. The jacket is slightly longer than our "standard gi", the sleeves are long - all the way down to the hand and sometimes 1-2 cm up on the hand. The pants are long and go down to the ankle or slightly lower. Budo-Nord's kumite suits are made of lighter fabrics that should give maximum freedom of movement and be as light as possible. Budo-Nord was probably the first to introduce kumite suits in functional microfiber fabric.
According to WKF's regulations, an approved suit must be as follows:
When the belt is fastened, the GI jacket must be at least so long that it goes down over and covers the hip but does not reach further down than three quarters of the thigh.
The karate suit jacket must be tied and must be tied during competition.
The sleeves must not reach further down than the wrist or be shorter than they cover half the forearm or be rolled up.
The karate pants must cover at least two thirds of the lower leg and must not go further down than to the ankles.
The trouser legs must not be rolled up.

Trouser legs and sleeves are relatively easy to put on while body size is difficult to adjust.

The length of the trousers can be easily adjusted by folding the elastic one or two turns.
